The evolution of this website

I version my website using this format:
<I rewrote it with different tools>.<major layout changes>. This website is now in version 3.0.
May 2019 - Version 1
Nine months into programming. I knew how to build web pages on CodePen, but had never hosted one myself.
I discovered Jekyll and GitHub Pages, and put together version 1. It's a blog with a home, about and tag page.
July 2019 - Version 1.1
I quickly discovered having five colours on your website isn't a good idea, so I tuned it down to just black and white. I also moved the navigation to the top.
December 2019 - Version 1.2
Some minor changes. I added one accent colour.
January 2020 - Version 1.3
I added a projects and notes page.
August 2020 - Version 1.4
I tried out something simpler. I removed the notes and projects, and moved tags to the top.
January 2021 - Version 1.5
I wasn't happy with the typography, so I tried out a theme named "no style please".
April 2021 - Version 2.0
I tried out another theme in Hugo.
August 2021(Now) - Version 3.0
What you see now is version 3. I rewrote it in Gatsby.
It is, again, built from scratch because I want to know everything that goes on here. And, to be honest, I found maintaining and judging my old code quite fun.
